As I sit staring at the same four walls day after day, I think about what would have happened if I had stood my ground. What if I had made my voice heard. Would the outcome have been any different?
Probably not.
But after years of replaying the events, and awakening from the nightmares, I wonder if it was all worth it.
The answer...ABSOLUTELY!! 100%, YES!!!
As I look into the ocean blue eyes of our beautiful “daughter,” I’m reminded that had we not endured those few painful years... our relationship with her may not have been a reality.
The joy of knowing and loving her makes every insult and hushed whisper at our expense, a pure blessing.
While some may try to remove everything that God carefully orchestrated; this precious young woman, has forever impacted our future.
Sometimes, what God illuminates💡within us during life’s greatest disappointments is an overwhelming sense of His presence.
Be on guard, dear friends, for not everything is always as it seems. Allow His presence in your life to outshine the dark shadows cast by man.
