Make Me a Blessing

My petite grandmother, the matriarch of this abundant clan, loved two things above all else, her Savior and her family.  My early memories are filled with family camping trips, cookouts, holidays and reunions. However, the time spent getting to know her as an adult will forever be among my favorite recollections. 

You're So Vain!

I am frequently asked how I cope, living with a chronic illness and what I miss most about life before. While that often seems like a strange question as I strive to live in the present, if I answer honestly, I find my response is incredibly vain.

Even if You Don't

This class also included a group of students positioned in the back of the room who heckled the teacher and made daily mocking of my friends and me a sport. Ryan, (spoiler alert, the man I would someday marry) the friend I had chosen to sit across from in class; was among the group from church who also endured the daily ridicule.
